OADI - Programs

Creating opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to engage and have intellectual discourse is part of OADI's mission.  OADI has created several program series designed exactly to accomplish this task. 

Tuesday Lunch Engagement is a weekly lunch conversation focused on current events, alumni successes, academic engagement, graduate school, study skills, and many other topics focused on your success.  The event occurs every Tuesday from 11:30am-1pm in our space in 200 CCC.  Check our on-line calendar for updates on speakers and topics being presented each week.

Meeting of the Minds, is intended to provide students with an opportunity to attend a variety of events across campus ... whether lecture, film, series, colloquium, play, or something else ... each Meeting has been selected to inspire thought, conversation, and allow for an opportunity to expand the way in which to view the diverse and multi-cultural world in which we live.  

A member of the OADI staff will not only coordinate logistics and attend the event, but will also host a follow-up conversation over coffee, hot chocolate, ice cream, or a lite bite. Transportation will be provided for events taking place off-campus.

In addition to these two series, OADI will periodically have other workshops and seminars available to students.  If you have an idea of a topic you would like to see or a speaker your organization would like to bring to campus, contact a member of OADI to discuss the opportunity.
