Any undergraduate Cornell student in good academic standing according to their college who has an interest in one of the following fields:

• Accounting

• Architecture
• Dentistry
• Education
• Engineering
• Law
• Medicine
• Physical and Natural Sciences
• Psychology
• Veterinary Medicine
• Other Licensed Professions

According to § 6455 of the New York State Education Law, CSTEP is 'for the purpose of increasing access by minority or disadvantaged students to academic programs that have been registered by the commissioner and that prepare students either for licensure in the professions or for employment in scientific and technical fields.'"

Students must identify as at least one of the following:

• Minority and/or

• State-defined economically deprived or disadvantaged criteria
